Recipe of Tteokbokki!

Today, I will introduce how to make Tteokbokki which is is a popular Korean rice cake snack food which is commonly purchased from street vendors.
When I miss spicy food in Australia, I usually make this!
This is quite spicy but we can add cheese to reduce spicy taste.
I'm gonna show you guys how to make Cheese Tteokbokki. Let's start~!

INGREDIENTS:

- 1 bowl of rice cake

- 1 bowl cheese

- 4 cups of water

- 1/2 spring onion

- 1/2 carrot

- 1/2 onion

- 15 dried anchovy, with heads and intestines removed

- 1/3 cup chili pepper paste

- 2/3 tbs diced garlic

- 2 tbs honey
1. Add the water, dried anchovies to a pot or pan.

2. Bring to a boil for 15 minutes over medium high heat without the lid.

3. Remove the anchovies from the pot and add the rice cake to a pot. Add chili pepper paste, garlic, vegetables, honey to a pot.

4. Stir gently with a wooden spoon when it starts to boil. Keep stirring until the rice cake turns soft and the sauce thickens and looks shiny, which should take about 7 to 10 minutes.

5. Put cheese and wait till cheese melt, which should take about 1 minutes.
6. Enjoy!
